MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assumes responsibility for the proper implementation and completion of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Takes records of maintenance work and prepares service report as may be required.
- Prepares and analyses breakdown cause and recommends corrective actions.
- Participates in equipment repair & maintenance activities.
- Work according to total quality management principles, ensuring zero defect objectives & safety, customer satisfaction and reaching the agreed key performance indicators.
- Provides support to planning, reliability and conditioned-base maintenance.
- Ensures every activity is coordinated to other section/unit.
- Ensures safety and cleanliness of the workplace.
- Acts and serves as Safety and Pollution Control Officer.
- Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduate of engineering courses
Licensed Engineer (preferably license in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferably with relevant work experience:
- With relevant job experience of at least three (3) years in electro-mechanical maintenance and repair with exposure pertaining of pumps, motors, motor controls and standby generators.
- Must have experience in HV (34.5kV) substation, MCC, VCB, MCCB etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledgeable in AutoCAD
- Knowledgeable in motor-pump application and standby power generators
- Knowledgeable in application of electrical test equipment and mechanical test equipment for rotating equipment
- High problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent driving skills (preferable with non-professional license restriction 2)
- Ability to learn new software, applications
- Ability to initiate innovations and leads implementations

WORKING CONDITIONS and OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS
- Works in a normal office environment
- In some instances during preventive maintenance or corrective a field work is required with an exposure to electrical hazard up to 34,500 volts and noisy environment.
- Frequent travel is required to other facilities in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
